EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
The management and administration of the AGRASRI is vested by 9-Member Executive Council, headed by Smt. D. Bharathi Sundar, Social Activist and Co-founder of the Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India, as the President. It comprises of the President, Vice-President, General-Secretary, Treasurer and 7 other Members.
The following is the composition of the Executive Council of AGRASRI.

Mrs. D.
Bharathi is a social activist and Co-founder of the Academy of Grassroots
Studies and Research of India, Tirupati. Mrs. Bharathi Sundar is a source of inspiration and
backbone of the multi-dimensional activities of the Academy over a period of 2 decades. She
is strongly proliferating to implement the provisions of the 73rd Constitutional Amendment
Act towards the devolution of 3 F’s- Functions, Functionaries and Finances- to the Gram
Panchayats for delivering good governance at the grassroots since the inception of AGRASRI.
As Co-founder of AGRASRI, Mrs. Bharathi Sundar is playing very significant role in
organising numerous National Seminars/Conferences/ Workshops, for elected representatives of
PRI’s and Women activists at the national, state, regional and district levels.
She is associated with many Self-Help Groups and Grassroots level organisations for
improving the capacity building for their livelihood and social development.
Mrs. D. Bharathi Sundar is the President of the Executive
Council, Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India since 2021 onwards.

MR. D. SAI KUMARYoung Social Activist, Engineer and Entrepreneur, Tirupati
Mr.
D. Sai Kumar is working as an Environmental Engineer at Amara Raja Energy &
Mobility Ltd., Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. He is young social activist and Entrepreneur and he
got MBA degree from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and B.E. degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Shri Chandrasekharendra Viswa Maha Vidyalaya (Deemed to be University),
Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. He has completed his Internship Programme at the Central Railway
Wagon Workshop, Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India, Renigunta. His areas of interests are:
Environment, Health, Safety (EHS) and Sustainability. He has participated in several
Seminars, Conferences and Training Programmes organised under the aegis of Academy of
Grassroots Studies and Research of India (AGRASRI) as Co-ordinator.
He has visited many Gram Panchayats and Taluk Panchayats in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu,
Karnataka and Kerala as part of several research studies of AGRASRI, as team leader. He is
one of the key Members of the Organising Committee of AGRASRI. Mr. Sai Kumar is the
Co-ordinator of the Youth Resource Centre of AGRASRI. He is also an Editorial Assistant
(Production), The Grassroots Governance Journal, Bi-annual Research Publication of AGRASRI.
Mr. D. Sai Kumar is the Vice-President of the Executive
Council, Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India since 2021 onwards.

Dr. D. Sundar
Ram is Founder and Director of the Academy of Grassroots Studies and
Research of India, Tirupati; Editor, The Grassroots Governance Journal (TGGJ), Tirupati and
Consulting Editor, The American Biographical Institute (ABI), United States of America. He
was the Doctoral Fellow and Post-Doctoral Fellow (UGC Research Associate) in Political
Science and Public Administration at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati; Parliamentary
Fellow at the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies, New Delhi; Associate
Professor and Head, Post-Graduate Department of Public Administration at S.S. & N. College
PG Centre (Acharya Nagarjuna University), Narasaraopet, Guntur District (A.P). He is a
prolific writer, author, researcher and analyst.
He has written extensively on Indian governance and polity, parliamentary studies, electoral
reforms, Andhra Pradesh State politics, decentralisation, federalism and good governance,
with over 25 books, 153 research papers and 32 talks in All India Radio to his credit. He
was selected as ICSSR Senior Fellow by the Indian Council of Social Science Research
(ICSSR), Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, for 2 Years tenure, with the affiliation of
Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati in 2017 February and successfully completed the Senior
Fellowship assignment in 2019 January.
Dr. D. Sundar Ram is the Member-Secretary-cum-Director of the
Executive Council, Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India since 2002
onwards.
Treasurer
Mrs. D. SUCHARITHASocial Activist and Computer Science Analyst, Hyderabad
Mrs.
D. Sucharitha is an active Social Activist and Computer Science Analyst. She
got M. Tech. Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from S.V. University College of
Engineering (Sri Venkateswara University), Tirupati. She is pursuing her Ph.D. (Part-time)
degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Shri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha
Vidyalaya (Deemed to be University), Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. Her areas of Specialisations
are: Cloud Computing, Data Mining and Big Data. She presented papers at the National and
International Seminars/Conferences. She has published few research articles and delivered
few talks on Computer Applications in All India Radio, Tirupati. She is organising many
capacity building and skill development techniques in Computer Applications for the
grassroots level activists, SHG members and rural Youth on behalf of AGRASRI.
She is an Editorial Assistant (Research), The Grassroots Governance Journal, Bi-annual
research publication of AGRASRI. She is also the Co-ordinator of the Seminars, Conferences,
Workshops and Capacity Building & Training Programmes of AGRASRI.
Mrs. D. Sucharitha is the Senior Assistant Director and
Treasurer of the Executive Council, Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research
of India from 2017 onwards.

PROF. M. RAGHURAMA REDDYPrincipal (Retd.), NTR Govt. Degree College, Vayalpadu, Andhra Pradesh
Prof. M. Raghurama Reddy is Principal (Retd.), NTR Govt. Degree College,
Vayalpad, Andhra Pradesh. He has been the Principal of SKIIMS B. School (MCS & MBA), Sri
Kalahasthi and Professor & Head, Department of MBA, S.V. College of Engineering
(Autonomous), JNTUA, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. As a senior faculty member in Economics, he
has participated and presented papers in many National Seminars and Conferences. He has
participated in the Research Methodology and Refresher Courses and Summer Schools at the
prestigious Sardar Patel Institute of Economic and Social Research, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and
Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
Prof. Raghurama Reddy has served as Academic Senate Member of Sri Venkateswara
University, Tirupati and associated with Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi,
as Course material author. He has associated with many Universities, Colleges and Research
Institutions, as Guest Faculty Member.
Prof. M. Raghurama Reddy is the Member of the Executive Council,

Professor, Department of MBA, SV College of Engineering (Autonomous), Tirupati
Prof. P. Subramanyachary is Professor, Department of Business
Administration, Mohan Babu University, Tirupati. He has been Professor of MBA at Sri
Venkateswara College of Engineering (Autonomous), JNTUA, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. He has
served as an Associate Professor and Professor and Head, Department of MBA at Siddhartha
Institute of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous), Puttur, Andhra Pradesh. His areas of
proficiency are: Managerial Economics, Business Environment and Laws, Human Resource
Management, Marketing and Agri-business Management. He has published 4 books, 26 chapters in
edited volumes and 38 articles in reputed national and international journals. He is the
Editorial Board Member of many national and international journals. He has guided the
projects of 62 MBA students.
Prof. Subramanyachary is recognised as. Research Supervisor by the Jawaharlal Nehru
Technological University, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. He is the Chairman, Board of Studies in
Business Management, SV College of Engineering (Autonomous), Tirupati.
Prof. P. Subramanyachary is the Member of the Executive
Council, Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India from 2024 onwards.
Senior Research Associate, VIMTA Labs Ltd., Hyderabad
Shri N. Naveen Kumar is working as Senior Research Associate at VIMTA
Labs Ltd., Hyderabad. He has been the Study Director and Senior Research Associate at the
GVK Biosciences Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad. He received M.Sc. degree in Bio-Technology from Sri
Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences University, Tirupati in the year 2014. He worked
as Quality Assurance Trainee in the Project on ‘Quality Assurance Functioning in GLP as a
Contract Research Organisation’ at RCC Laboratories India Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad from November
2014 to May 2015. Subsequently, he worked as Study Director, Department of Genetic
Toxicology at the RCC Laboratories India Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad from 2016 to 2019. His areas
of research specialisations are: Cell Culture Techniques, Molecular Biology, Quality
Assurance and Genetic Toxicology.
Shri N. Naveen Kumar is the Member of the Executive Council,
Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India from 2021 onwards.
Resident Doctor, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, New Delhi
Dr.
N. Ashok Kumar is Resident Doctor at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, New
Delhi. He got his MBBS degree from Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, Karnataka. He is
pursuing his MS in DNB-ENT from Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, New Delhi. He is
participated and presented many medical papers in the National Seminars and Conferences. He
has worked as Junior Resident in the PGS Global Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru. He
has organised many Medical Camps for the IT employees and NGO’s in and around Bengaluru. He
has completed the Pilot study on ‘Screening of Non-Communicable Diseases in Rural Villages
in Kolar District of Karnataka’. He was the Medical Consultant to Help Age India, Bengaluru.
He has successfully completed his Internship at SNR Govt. Hospital, Kolar,
Karnataka.He is associated with a number of NGO’s and Civil Society Organisations, as
Member and Medical Consultant.
Dr. N. Ashok Kumar is the Member of the Executive Council,
Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India since 2024 onwards.
SHG Leader and Social Activist, Tirupati
Smt. N.
Lalitha is Social Activist and Self-Help Group Leader. She is actively
associating with many social activists and Self-Help Groups in Tirupati City. She has
organised many awareness programmes for working women and sensitised them towards the sexual
harassment at the workplace for the past one decade. She is visiting schools and orphan
homes and providing food and clothes to the under privileged girls. She is helping many poor
and destitute women by way of providing hand loans for financial stability in rural
villages. Smt. Lalitha is associating with AGRASRI programmes in rural areas for women
empowerment and sustainable development though training and awareness programmes, as SHG
Leader and Social Activist.
She is successful women leader in mobilising women activists for various meetings of
Community Based Organisations (CBO’s).
SSmt. N. Lalith is the Member of the Executive Council,
Academy of Grassroots Studies and Research of India since 2024 onwards.
